Understand the strategies of the satant and fight him:

What does Satan do with his days, knowing he has no time to waste?

In 1 Peter 5:8-9, Peter warns the church: “Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. And the next word in his handwriting is? “Resist him” (v. 9).

Many people don't quite understand the meaning of the word resist him. Of course, the word resist Satan sounds ridiculous. Because as humans By ourselves, we are less able to resist Satan in our own strength. We can see the example of Eve, the first lady of the Garden of Eden, unable to resist the temptation of the devil.

You must know that satan the devil was not given the strength nor the mandate to overthrow a man of God or a child of God, so to achieve his goal there are many main strategies that he often applies and to avoid falling under devil strategies, you must learn to resist him with firm faith as the Bible says.

Here are some strategies the devil uses to reach Christians:

1. Temptation:

One of the devil's greatest strategies that he has always used for generations from genesis to the present day is temptation. Many great figures in the Bible have fallen into this trap, including the first human couple Adam and Eve.

Definition of temptation:

It is the desire to do something, especially something wrong or reckless.

3 important things to remember about temptation:

A) In temptation, Satan searches for your flaws and weaknesses, then seeks to use them as a weapon to get at you.

B) In temptation, the devil tries to break through your protective wall to find an accessible door to reach your soul and ultimately destroy you.

C) In the satant temptation seeks to take advantage of our addictive desires and our selfishness also to our human pride to push us to disobey God finally that the protection of God moves away from us and that we remain without protection to finally give him access to destroy us.

What attitude to adopt to resist temptation and trial.

We must resist temptation by using the method used by Jesus to defend ourselves:

1) He first commanded Satan to depart, With authority by prayer speaking with his mouth with the authority of the Holy Spirit by faith.

2) Then he quoted the Scriptures. (Biblical sayings or the word of God)

As a Christian, you have the right and the authority to tell Satan to leave when you encounter temptation and trial. Also, when we memorize the scriptures like Jesus, we feel stronger against the enemy because the powers of the scriptures intimidate Satan and his demons.

What does the Bible say about temptation or trial?

It is written: (1 Corinthians 10:13)

no temptation has come to you that has not been human, and God, who is faithful, will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength; but with the temptation he will also prepare the way out, so that you can bear it.

This scripture confirms to us that temptation is a test, and this test cannot be more powerful than our human strength because God always gives us superior abilities to overcome them. So you can win this temptation and this struggle.

5 things to remember in this verse about temptation :

- Temptation is a test to help us move on to the next level of our destiny.

- No temptation is stronger than you.

-God is faithful, he will never forsake you or let you down, during the time of temptation he will be there with you.

-God already gives you the power to endure temptation.

- You must know that God has already prepared the way out for this.

6.You must manifest endurance:

(Hebrews 12:4)

You haven't yet resisted the shedding of blood, struggling against sin.

This scripture urges us to learn to resist trials and temptation to the end, even though it will cost our blood, we must resist and never give up in front of our enemies. So we need endurance during the time of temptation.

7.Wait patiently for God's help:

(James 5:10,11)

Take, my brethren, for models of suffering and patience the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

This scripture teaches us to be patient in the face of trial and temptation like the prophets of the Bible, because whatever battles you face, God always ends up giving us victory.

8.Don't be afraid, be ready to fight:

(Revelation 2:10)

Do not fear what you will suffer. Behold, the devil is going to throw some of you into prison, to be judged, and you will have ten days of tribulation. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

This scripture urges us not to fear suffering or difficulties, but to be better prepared to face them with faith and perseverance until God comes to our rescue.

And if we remain faithful in our faith in God and endure to the end, a great crown of glory awaits us. Because after each battle there will be a reward time.

9.Have faith in God, he will deliver you!

{2Peter 2:9}

The Lord knows how to deliver the pious from trials, and to reserve the unrighteous to be punished in the day of judgment.

These scriptures confirming whatever problem you are facing, we must keep faith in our God, he will always deliver us as promised in the Bible.
