INTRODUCTION:

As we approach the end of the year, we celebrate what God has done with us in 2024 and plan how we can improve even more in the coming year. The right question to ask yourself might be “HOW TO MAKE 2025 A YEAR OF SUCCESS?”

When you ask yourself this question in your mind How to make 2025 a year of success, the answer is in this teaching that will give you the best knowledge you need to make your new year a year of success.

In my teaching, I try to share with you 15 SECRETS FOR A SUCCESSFUL 2025, I believe that if you apply these 15 secrets and principles before the end of the year 2025, you will celebrate God and testify His name in your life because you will realize by the grace of God how successful you have been in 2025.

PSALMS 118:17

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

This year 2025, prepare yourself, you will tell the works of the Lord in your life that will change you to become a testimony for many people. God will take glory from what will happen in your life. Follow God's advice, you will testify to his name in all areas of your life.

HERE IS THE LIST OF MY ADVICE:

1. TAKE A CLEAR REVIEW OF THE PAST YEAR:

The success of your new year Start by taking a deep look at the past year: think about the areas in which you have improved and those in which you need to improve. Reflection can help you gain confidence for the new year.

PROVERBS 16:20

He who considers matters wisely finds good, and happy is he who trusts in the LORD.

2. HAVE A VISION WITH KEY WORDS:

Have a clear vision of what you want to do or become in this new year. And throughout the year, your vision should serve as a guide to help you achieve what you dream of.

A clear vision will help you avoid falling into confusion and follow-up. And your key words will help you filter your goals, tasks and opportunities that will arise throughout the year.

Write your goals and visions in a journal to remind yourself from time to time of the path to follow and to avoid being disoriented in the middle of the year. Finally, focus your strengths only on what is a priority to achieve your vision.

After you have defined your vision for the year 2025, choose keywords that describe your vision. Be careful, your keywords must express your vision for the year, how you want to feel, think and be for the year 2025.

And in everything you are going to do in 2025, you can ask yourself: does this match my keyword? This is very important to serve as a filter and finally reassure you that you are going in the right direction.

Keywords It can be a single word or a short phrase. For example, the keywords that express the vision of our local church FREEDOM HOUSE CHURCH are: REPENTANCE, DELIVERANCE, RESTORATION, HEALING, MIRACLE, REBIRTH OF THE CHURCH these words serve as a filter to help us stay in our vision.

Here are some examples of some keywords that you can personalize: Shine, strength, courage, discover, simplify, inspire, visible, radiant, motivation, adapt, facilitate, start, progress, joy, forgiveness, compassion, organized, brilliant. If you can’t find a word that speaks to you, look for words in the Bible, the word of God.

PROVERBS 29:18

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but happy is he who keeps the law.

3.HAVE A PLAN:

Make a clear and detailed plan that covers what you want to accomplish from January to December, and try to add things that are different from what you did the previous year.

HABAKKUK 2:2

And the LORD spake unto me, saying, Write the prophecy (VISION), and write it upon tables, that it may be fluent in reading.

4.SET GOALS TO ACHIEVE:

It is very important to set goals to help you channel your energy in the right direction and avoid wasting time on uninteresting or unproductive things. Clear goals can motivate you to work harder and improve your performance, which can lead to success.

WARNING:

Be organized in a way that differentiates your goals to avoid confusion between family, personal, and professional goals.

Use your vision and keywords to decide your goals for 2025. When setting your goals and planning for 2025, check if they match your vision and keywords.

Don't have too many goals so as not to be overwhelmed by the sea of goals.

Try to limit your goals for the year to only 2 or 3 goals to channel your efforts towards their achievement.

The goals you want to achieve can be from the following categories: finances, health and fitness, hobbies, home, family, personal and spiritual development, professional career, etc.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I CHOSE THE RIGHT GOAL FOR 2025?

Here is the answer you need to know: A clear and well-defined goal means that your goals are specific, criticizable, achievable, real and time-bound. These five ingredients are very important to achieve your goals, think about them to make sure you have chosen the right goals.

1.SPECIFIC:

You need to know What do you want to accomplish? Who needs to be included? When do you want to do it? Why this goal?

2.CRITICABLE:

How can you measure progress and know if you have successfully achieved your goal?

3.ACHIEVABLE:

Do you have the skills to achieve the goal? If not, can you achieve it? What is the motivation to achieve it?

4.RELEVANT:

Why am I setting this goal now? Is it aligned with the overall goals?

5.TIMELINE:

What is the timeframe in which you plan to achieve it?

ATTENTION:

If you are able to answer these 5 questions clearly in your mind, it means that you have chosen the right GOAL for 2025. But if you cannot answer these 5 questions clearly, it means that you may have difficulty in achieving this goal and in this case, I advise you to review your goal.

5.DREAM BIG BUT NOT BIGGER THAN YOURSELF:

It is very important to set clear and precise goals because it helps to find the right balance between being too ambitious and not ambitious enough.

When choosing your goals, it is always advisable to dream big in an ideal world, but be careful your grandiose vision or your ability to dream big must not exceed your inner potential. Dreaming big must always be proportional to what you believe you are capable of achieving. Otherwise you risk starting a house without finishing it because your production capacity is low compared to the vision. This is why you see people who do things that do not succeed because the energy they possess is low compared to their vision.

Before you start You must ask yourself what you would like to accomplish by December 2025. Then, examine yourself by reviewing your talents, skills, ability to mobilize financing and intelligence and conclude if you would be able to achieve this dream within the expected time frame. Then, take those dreams and determine the steps you need to take to make them come true. Then, prioritize the goals, while being realistic about the time you have to accomplish your dream.

LUKE 14:28-32

For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has sufficient to finish it? 29Lest after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all who see it begin to mock him, 30Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish? 31Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consult whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32And if he is not able, then, while the other king is still a great way off, he sends an embassy and asks for peace. 33So then, whoever he is of you who does not forsake all that he has cannot be my disciple.

6. EXPAND YOUR NETWORK:

Expand your network and be willing to meet new colleagues, friends whether in a friendly and professional setting in your industry or outside your industry. This will allow you to learn more from the experiences of others, new knowledge that can help you improve your talents and abilities or your way of doing or living.

7. ASK YOUR SUPERIOR FOR ADVICE:

Ask your superiors, who may be your parents in the faith or your mentor, for advice.

Their advice can help you improve your performance, character, personality and talent and, ultimately, facilitate your success.

ATTENTION:

Don't forget the feedback from others like friends, family members and others who love what you do and can give you honest and loving feedback that can help you improve yourself and what you do.

PROVERBS 15:22

Plans fail without counsel,

but with many counselors they are accomplished.

8. WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH OTHER TALENTS:

Be a team player: be willing to put aside your personal goals for the overall goals of God’s work if you are involved in the local church.

If you work for yourself, be willing to receive help from other talented people who can help you grow or advance what you do as a job or business.

9. SEPARATE WHAT IS FAMILY AND WHAT IS PROFESSIONAL:

Plan your year separately by avoiding living in confusion between your family life, friends, love life and what is professional. I meant to be able to separate what is professional and what is personal.

LUKE 2:42-51

When he was twelve years old, they went up according to the custom of the feast. 43And when the days were fulfilled, and they returned, the child Jesus remained behind in Jerusalem; but his parents knew it not. 44And supposing that he was with them that were traveling with them, they went a day's journey, and sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances. 45But when they found him not, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46And after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and at his answers. 48And when his parents saw him, they were astonished: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou dealt thus with us? Behold, your father and I have been searching for you anxiously. 49And he said to them, Why were you searching for me? Did you not know that I must be about my Father's business? 50But they did not understand what he was saying to them. 51And he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them. And his mother kept all these things in her heart.

10.CREATE A LIST OF THINGS THAT WILL BE OF NO USE TO YOU:

To avoid falling into distraction or wasting time unnecessarily, create a list of things not to do: Make a list of things that will be of no use to you and that will waste your time unnecessarily and make sure that you do not waste your time on these things.

11.ACCEPT TO LIVE IN THE ROUTINE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO YOUR PROGRESSION: The daily routine helps us develop the discipline that can then shape our character and personality. That is why those who want to succeed must be willing to accept living in a routine that allows them to accomplish something new in their life every day.

WARNING:

Be careful that your creativity does not kill your routine because it is in the routine that you will impose discipline on your being in a personal and professional way and without discipline it will be difficult for you to succeed. Discipline and routine are the lifestyle of a hard worker who dreams of success.

THIS WAS JESUS' ROUTINE:

MARK 1:34

In the morning, while it was still very dark, he got up and went out to a deserted place and there he prayed.

LUKE 6:12

At that time Jesus went out into the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.

LUKE 22:39-46

And he went out, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives: and his disciples followed him.…

12. WORK ON OTHER PARALLEL PROJECTS:

Whatever your current activity, do not hesitate to work on other projects in parallel with your usual work. Because sometimes, success can come from things you did not imagine. So be ready to accept the surprises of life.

13. MAKE A HABIT OF REVIEWING YOUR GOALS:

Create a system that will allow you to check in on your goals every quarter of the year! Set aside time regularly to review your goals and plans for success. Focus on what worked and what didn’t. Adjust them if necessary.

Stay accountable, track and review your goals regularly. Review your quarters and see how you are progressing toward your goals. If things didn’t go as planned, adjust your plans and try to find effective ways that will make it easier for you to reach your goals.

14.PRACTICE THE TRADITION OF SELF-REWARD AND SELF-MOTIVATION:

First, be prepared to motivate yourself against opposition and discouragement, even if no one motivates you to achieve your goals or believes in your vision for the year 2025. Stay motivated in the same way God told Joshua to be strong and take courage.

Second, do not hesitate to give yourself a small reward every time you achieve a sub-goal, this will motivate you and give you a sense of progress and accomplishment that will encourage you to do more. To conclude this paragraph Do not see your failures as a reason to give up, but rather as an opportunity to learn more because success is the result of determination and failure overcomes. Be determined and motivated to achieve your goals and realize your dreams in your new year.

15. PUT GOD AT THE CENTER OF YOUR GOAL:

You must understand that in everything we do, we cannot succeed without God’s help. That is why tip number 15 is all the more important. When planning your goal for 2025, let’s not forget to consider God as the One who gives us the opportunities, abilities, talents, resources and time to accomplish what we need. For it is written:

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established” (Proverbs 16:3).

Putting God at the center of your goal means that the satisfaction or success of your goal for 2025 must not satisfy your personal interests but first the interests of the kingdom of God which are the interests of God.

This means that by being a child of God in every goal you want to achieve in 2025, God must see his interest in your goal. So ask yourself what will be the interest of the kingdom of God in your goal for the year 2025? because God can only act where it is in his interest.

PROVERBS 16:9

A man's heart plans his way,

but the LORD directs his steps.

PSALM 60:12

With God we will do exploits; He will crush our enemies.

GENESIS 11:1-9

Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. 2And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and dwelt there. 3And they said one to another, Come, let us make brick, and burn it with fire. And they had brick for stone, and had slime for morter. 4And they said, Come, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven, and let us make us a name, that we be not scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. 6And the LORD said, Behold, the people are one, and they have all one language; and this is what they have begun to do: now nothing shall hinder them from doing whatsoever they have thought to do. 7Come, let us go! let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's language. 8And the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off building the city. 9Therefore it is called the name of it Babel: because there the LORD did confound the language of all the earth: and from thence the LORD scattered them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

PROVERBS 19:21

Many plans are in a man's heart,

but the plan of the LORD stands.

AMOS 3:7

For the Lord GOD will do nothing

until he reveals his secret

to his servants the prophets.
