WATER BAPTISM SERVICE
FREEDOM HOUSE CHURCH MANCHESTER
WHAT IS WATER BAPTISM
Being immersed in water is a public way of celebrating the spiritual transformation that took place in your life when you were born again. The water of baptism symbolises both the death by immersion of the believer's old life, given over to sin, and his birth into a divine and eternal dimension which we also call born again. It is also the symbol of washing away your old life and starting a new life in Christ. John 3:3-21; Acts 8:27-39; Roman 6:4, Acts 2:38.
It is a public demonstration that you are saved by the Lord Jesus - Christ. Therefore, at Freedom House Church in Manchester, we can only offer water baptism to those who understand the process of salvation and believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of their lives (Matthew 28: 19, Mark 16, Acts 8:36-39, 10:17-48)

BAPTISM OF CHILD WHAT IS IT
Children from 12 and older who have decided to follow Jesus can be baptised if they understand the meaning of baptism.
For all of the young children who want to be baptised, we want to tell you that it's not just about putting your heads and bodies in the water. It's about showing people or your friends that you now believe in Jesus-Christ.
We firmly believe that the decision should be made by themselves and not by parents and that by making this decision it is about showing what is going on in your heart because of your faith in Jesus Christ. It is a symbol of washing away your old life and starting a new life with Jesus-Christ. (Romans 6: 1-4, Colossians 2:12, 1 Corinthians 10: 1-2 and 2 Corinthians 5:17)
SPECIAL HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE
Holy Communion, also known in other churches as the Eucharist or the Lord's Supper, is a Christian sacrament or ordinance that involves the sharing of bread and wine to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
It is a Christian rite where bread and wine are shared to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The bread symbolizes the body of Jesus given as a sacrifice to save us from sin and the wine symbolizes his blood that was shed on the cross of Golgotha for the forgiveness of our sins.
